How This Program Works: This program is recommended for Veteran Press Photographers and Journalists who concentrate on high profile events of international interest. Members carrying the A.I.N.S Universal media credentials are on assignment for Today’s Photographer International magazine. All the photos and articles in the magazine are by IFPO Members. Photographers and Journalists retain all rights to their photos and articles and are encouraged to also submit their work to other media outlets. Members choose their own assignments. Most events require an online application be completed by a certain deadline. Instructions for completing such applications are included with your press credentials. Read the paragraph below titled “Fully Supported” to see how IFPO supports our Press Members for high-profile events that are more difficult to gain access to.

Fully Supported: Fully Supported means that editors at American Image Press are available by phone (1-800-654-9557) M-F from 10am- 5pm EST or email (homeoffice@ainewsservice.net) to answer your questions about how to use your press credentials, approach an event or how to answer questions related to an covering an event. Most events require you to submit an online application form by a certain deadline; Information on how to fill these out are provided with your press credentials. For tougher events, if required:
- Our editors will write a specific letter stating that you are on assignment to cover an event on a specific date at a particular location. (Limit one (1) per member, per month. Additional requests will be granted for a fee of $22 per request)
- Make an online application and provide complete details for a specific event for you. (Limit one (1) per member, per month. Additional requests will be granted for a fee of $22 per request)
- Send an email to confirm that you are on assignment to cover an event on a specific date at a particular locations. (Limit one (1) per member, per month. Additional requests will be granted for a fee of $22 per request)
On weekends and holidays assignments may be verified by using our online verification page.
