Press cards that really work must have the backup and support of a recognized publication that is published regularly or broadcast news outlet that operates on a regular basis. Without the back up of such an outlet, a press card is not really a press card.
The IFPO Member Press credentials are available to IFPO members only. IFPO press members submit their work to be considered for publication in Today’s Photographer International magazine as well as numerous other news outlets internationally. IFPO press programs are offered in three different packages, all of which work equally well – depending on the goals of the photographer or journalist. Each of the three press programs are backed up and supported by the staff of Today’s Photographer International magazine and the American Image Press staff.
Each one of the IFPO issued press programs offers all the required documentation that a freelance press photographer, photojournalist or writer needs to prove s(he) is a working member of the press:
